Karen comes from a solid business and management background with over 20 years experience within the Service Industry, Recruitment & Human Resources, and Management Consulting.
Karen is professional in her approach and sets a high standard in her service delivery to her clients. Her passion for learning and development plays a key factor to the success she has in engaging others and creating an environment where people become curious enough to implement new changes and positive outcomes.
Her strengths include working in a Greenfield environment, driving new initiatives and identifying opportunities for improvement, streamlining systems and processes, boosting employee confidence and motivation and empowering others to achieve positive life changes
From 2008 to 2011, she worked as HR & Organisational Development Manager for ‘Cardinal’ a NZ wide Logistics company and played a key role in the company winning four Awards, including becoming an 'Employer of Choice' from the L & D initiatives she implemented.
In 2014, Karen returned to Cardinal on a part time basis as Organisational Development and Wellbeing Facilitator to help them transform their workplace into a positive engaged workplace due to the considerable growth they have experienced over the last couple of years.
Over the last couple of years, Karen has been working with Leaders to inspire and transform them to become role models for their staff. She believes that the key motivating factor to assisting people tap into their full potential is; "You get the best efforts from others, not by lighting a fire beneath them....but by lighting a fire within them’".
Karen has recently joined Catch Software in Auckland as their HR Business partner, where she once again is weaving her magic as this exciting company experiences substantial growth
