Rory is the heart of the company's personal development business. He's a proven business trouble shooter and executive mentor sought after for his powerful one on one coaching sessions. He is an extremely skilled counsellor and psychotherapist who often deals with 'last resort’ cases with un-paralleled results.
University qualified with a Bachelor of Counselling Degree from the University of New England, Armidale, NSW Australia, Rory assists people to see where they are, where they want to go, and how to get there! He's all about helping you get solutions and reaching your goals through personal empowerment.
Originally from a theatre and television background, Rory enjoyed huge success for many years as a radio announcer and public broadcaster. He was instrumental in taking radio stations like North Queensland's Radio 4TO to number one in Breakfast and Mornings by an enormous margin, as well as reaching equal number one in the cut-throat Brisbane market with Radio 4KQ (something they hadn't achieved over the previous ten years)
A move with his family from Queensland to NSW, saw a career change. Rory then went onto work as a Head Counselllor in the well-known Salvation Army Bridge Program's Miracle Haven property in Morisset, country NSW, working exclusively with drug and alcohol addicts. It was there he developed an interest in Co-Dependency – the "Disease to Please" and has since become one of the country's leading experts on this important topic.
Rory has been married to his wife Michele for 32 years – they have a remarkable and enduring partnership. Rory is the proud father of 4 amazing adult children, Scott, Jim, and Jaime-Lee, and their half-sister Ingrid. He is Grandfather to Lauren, Broden, Demi, Jesse, Jimmy and his wife Jade, as well as Great Grandfather to Parker, Allyra, and Lyric. Family is paramount to him.
Rory is a keen amateur photographer, loves to throw out a fishing line occasionally, enjoys Country Music, good coffee and loves Fort Worth Texas, especially the White Elephant Saloon! He collects Zippo lighters and has an exquisite collection of pens, especially the fine fountain variety from the house of Montegrappa. He enjoys American television and news, as well as good action movies. He is an exceptionally talented writer and raconteur. He makes people laugh! He makes people feel good.
Rory's uncanny ability to connect with people sees his private and confidential Success Coaching practice in great demand across Australia. He does most of his work online via Skype or on the phone. Face to face appointments are of course available.
