Based in Auckland New Zealand, Karen also has an extensive background in the hospitality arena having owned a hugely successful transport company for many years.
Karen’s passion for learning and development plays a key factor in the success she has in engaging others and creating an environment where people become curious enough to implement new changes and positive outcomes. Her track record in achieving that for companies in New Zealand and Australia is very impressive. She is a true “people manager” and has an uncanny way of helping individuals uncover the right communication strategies to resolve any challenge.
She specialises in finding the right mix of effective communication strategies and systems to strengthen a business at its core and bring the best out of its people.
Her strengths include working in a Greenfield environment, driving new initiatives and identifying opportunities for improvement, streamlining systems and processes, boosting employee confidence and motivation as well as empowering others to achieve positive life changes.
From 2008 to 2011, Karen contracted to Cardinal Logistics, a NZ wide company, as HR & Organisational Development Manager and played a key role in them winning four Awards, including becoming an “Employer of Choice” from the L & D initiatives she implemented. In 2014, Karen returned to Cardinal on a part time, contract basis as Organisational Development and Wellbeing Facilitator to help them transform their workplace into a positive engaged workplace due to the considerable growth they have experienced over the last couple of years.
Since then, Karen has been working with Leaders as a Talent Management Developer to inspire and transform them to become role models for their staff.
